The week's most expensive deals
According to the same data, the three largest sales were:
- An apartment at W Residences, Palm Jumeirah: AED 53.7 million.
- An office at Sensoria at Five Luxe, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR): AED 21.8 million.
- An apartment at Bugatti Residences by Binghatti, Business Bay: AED 20.9 million.
Two of the three deals are in branded residences, linked to a hotel or luxury brand, in Palm Jumeirah and Business Bay.
Together, the three deals came to AED 96.4 million, about 1.1% of the week's sales value. They draw attention, but most of the activity came from thousands of ordinary transactions.
An active week in a slower year
This week follows a weaker third quarter. Residential sales value fell 47% compared with Q3 2025, as we covered in our article on the Q3 2026 slowdown in Dubai property sales.
Across all transaction types, Dubai recorded AED 574 billion in the first nine months of the year, as detailed in our review of Dubai real estate transactions, January–September 2026.
Against that backdrop, more than 2,600 sales in a week show the market is still operating at scale, even with buyers more cautious than in 2025. For comparison, see our review of transactions for 28 September – 2 October.
What it means for Israeli investors
The following is an analysis of the published data, not a forecast.
One week is not a trend
Weekly figures are affected by launch dates, the timing of registrations and a handful of large deals. They are useful for tracking activity, but a purchase decision should rest on price trends over several months.
The luxury market is still active
An AED 53.7 million apartment sale on Palm Jumeirah shows deals are still being signed at the top end of the market. For investors with smaller budgets, the relevant deals are the ones in their own price range. The Dubai Index price index shows current price levels by area. For how these areas have performed over time, see the Palm Jumeirah case study and the Business Bay case study.
Financing is part of the picture
Mortgage registrations made up about 28% of the week's transaction value, close to the 27% recorded in the week of 28 September – 2 October. If you plan to finance a purchase from Israel, check in advance which banks lend to non-residents and on what terms. Our mortgage and financing service can help you compare.
